Best iGCSE schools in Jaipur (2026 guide)

Jaipur's international-school market is smaller than Delhi's or Mumbai's, and it's also more clearly shaped by a single exam board. Cambridge-affiliated schools in the city include the ones profiled below, and each runs the Cambridge (CAIE) pathway. None of the schools reviewed here confirms a live Pearson Edexcel IGCSE track on its own website, so in practice a Jaipur family choosing iGCSE is choosing between Cambridge schools.

There's also a naming trap worth flagging before you shortlist. Several well-known Jaipur schools use "international" or "Cambridge" in their brand names but are CBSE schools with some Cambridge-flavoured enrichment rather than an IGCSE exam pathway. Mayoor School Jaipur markets itself as "a top Cambridge school" but its programme reads as CBSE with Cambridge elements. Cambridge Court World School (Mansarovar) and Cambridge Campus World School (Vaishali Nagar) both carry "Cambridge" in the name yet describe CBSE curricula on their own sites, with no IGCSE Grade 10 pathway confirmed. Maheshwari Public School International (MPS International) and Delhi Public School Jaipur are CBSE-only per their own sites. And "Jaipur Public International School" doesn't appear as a distinct verified entity, the flagship "JPIS" in Jaipur is Jayshree Periwal International School, in Mahapura on the Ajmer Road SEZ. If someone recommends a school under any of those names as an "iGCSE school", it's worth checking the board directly with admissions before you go any further.

Because Cambridge is the effectively only game in town for iGCSE, the choice comes down to fit rather than exam board. A few questions to guide the shortlist.

Where is the school? Jaipur's iGCSE schools cluster in a handful of neighbourhoods. Mansarovar in the south-west has Neerja Modi and India International. Jagatpura and Ramnagariya in the south-east have SRN. The Ajmer Road SEZ at Mahapura in the west has JPIS. Sanganer, Pratap Nagar and Sitapura in the south have Jankidevi and BIS. Jawahar Nagar in the city centre has Seedling. Hanuman Nagar and Sirsi Road in the north-west have Sanskar. A shorter commute usually beats a marginally better fit.

What continuation pathway do you want at Grade 11-12? Several schools pair iGCSE with the IB Diploma (JPIS, Neerja Modi, India International, Sanskar, BIS), which can matter if you're aiming for university applications outside India. Others may bridge into CBSE Class 11-12 or another Grade 11-12 route, worth asking.

Day, day-boarding or boarding? JPIS, SRN and India International (girls, from Class 5) offer residential options. Most others are day only.

Established in 2023, it's a new-build 5-acre Sitapura campus with a "Learning by Doing" pedagogical approach, digital classrooms and a broad sports footprint (tennis, squash, basketball, football, cricket, athletics, volleyball). Because BIS is a 2023-founded school, the first Grade 9-10 IGCSE cohort is only just entering the school, so this is best treated as an announced iGCSE pathway rather than a mature one, worth direct confirmation before applying.
