What are Cambridge IGCSE Design & Technology grade thresholds (syllabus 0445)?

Grade thresholds are the minimum weighted marks you need for each grade in Cambridge IGCSE Design & Technology (syllabus 0445). Cambridge sets the thresholds once marking is complete for the whole cohort, based on how the papers scored and how past cohorts performed.

Syllabus 0445 reports on the letter-grade scale (A*-G). Cambridge also offers a parallel 9-1 variant (syllabus 0979) that reports on the reformed 9-1 scale.

Component 02 is the design coursework; Components 11-13 are Paper 1 variants; Components 31-33, 41-43 and 51-53 are area-specific written papers; Components 82 and 92 are alternative externally-set assignments used in place of coursework.

Cambridge does not run the 0445 syllabus in the March (India) series. Some DY, DZ, FY and FZ options were split into 82- and 92-component variants in 2023-2024; where thresholds are identical, we've listed them together and flagged the variant in the option label.
