How do I know if I've properly learned a topic in Physics?

A reliable check is to test yourself against the three assessment objectives Cambridge International uses to mark your work: AO1 covers knowledge and understanding (50% of your marks), AO2 covers handling information and problem-solving (30%), and AO3 covers experimental skills and investigations (20%).

For AO1, you'd want to recall definitions, laws and concepts without prompting. For AO2, the real test is whether you can apply that knowledge to an unfamiliar question you haven't seen before.
